To run your VIN online, you will need your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). You can find this

  • in the bottom corner of the windshield on the driver’s side of the vehicle
  • inside the doorjamb of your driver’s side door or
  • on your vehicle’s registration document

Once you have located your VIN, visit safercar.gov and enter your VIN. This will help you determine whether or not there is a recall on your vehicle.
